Globalteer's Sea Turtle Conservation Project
Our Costa Rica expedition provides you with the opportunity to live on the beach for 3-4 weeks as you volunteer on the Pacific coastline working on a sea turtle conservation project. This volunteer project involves working during the day and night undertaking a range of duties including: beach cleaning, night patrols for newly-hatching sea turtles, monitoring turtle nests and carrying out maintenance work at the beach camp, a camp only made possible through the donations of DUCK 2016!
In terms of travel opportunities, Costa Rica offers an absolute treat. An extra week at the end of the trip will be spent exploring Costa Rica's rainforest and coastline, both bursting with wildlife, natural wonders, stunning scenery, friendly people and exciting adventure. You will also have the possibility to travel to neighbouring Panama or Nicaragua. A guarantee of this expedition is that you'll be in paradise the entire time!
